Advise Me Healthy
I noticed a major gap early in my career — people were overwhelmed by supplement information, yet most of it came directly from supplement companies. There was (and still is) very little access to qualified, evidence-based, relatable guidance on which vitamins, minerals, and specialized products actually work, and when they are truly needed.
My professional journey began with a Master’s in Homeopathic & Natural Medicine (M.Tech.Hom, DUT, 2010), followed by extensive work across the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and primary-healthcare sectors, as well as private clinical practice. I later completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE cum laude, UNISA) in Senior Phase and FET Biology — combining my love for science, education, and clinical experience.
During my postgraduate studies, I completed a thesis examining the role of natural medicine in primary healthcare, highlighting the real-world benefits of using researched, natural interventions to support wellbeing.
As a mother of two — and later while navigating peri-menopause — my appreciation for targeted nutrient support grew even deeper. I experienced first-hand how the right supplements, chosen carefully and used properly, can transform energy, mood, resilience, and overall health through every life stage.
Today, these experiences shape my mission as an evidence-based supplement practitioner: to bring clarity, honesty, and clinical-level guidance to people who want to make confident, safe, and effective decisions about their health.
Today, I’ve dedicated my work to building Advise Me Healthy, a platform designed to give you unbiased, practitioner-level supplement guidance — so you can make clear, confident, and cost-effective choices.
Allow me to do the research, subscribe to the necessary journals and follow all the relevant up to date information for you. My goal is to bridge the gap between science and everyday supplement use, and to be the voice that encourages supplement companies and consumers alike to prioritise quality, safety, and evidence.
Yours in Health,
